With this workshop we are going back to the basics, starting from scratch, and taking you step by step through all the essentials to make learning to sew a fun and inspiring experience.
This class is perfect for complete beginners & people who have sewn in the past but need a refresher without committing to a 6 week class. You will learn how to competently use a sewing machine and complete a tote bag.
During this course you will learn:
· all of the necessary sewing terminology & equipment
· how to make the perfect tote bag
· over 6 different types of stitches & seam finishes you can complete using a sewing machine!

FABRIC AND SUPPLIES: For virtual classes, sewing machine, scissors, ruler and pins needed for this class are not provided. Sewing kits for the tote bag will be shipped upon registration. All supplies for in person classes are provided.
COURSE DURATION: 2 hours
VIRTUAL CLASS RECORDINGS: All virtual classes will be recorded. If you miss a class or need to practice at home you may request the recording and rewatch. Class recordings are only available to students registered for the class and only the speaker will be recorded.
